INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS OF PRESENTATIONS

Submission of Abstracts

IMPORTANT:

• No deadline extensions will be granted due to the abstract review process.
• Only online submissions will be accepted. Only one submission per work is allowed. Duplicate abstracts will be rejected.

Writing Guidelines

Abstracts must be written exclusively in French. All abbreviations, acronyms, etc., must be spelled out in full. Authors are reminded to take particular care in writing their abstract, as the quality of the writing contributes to the preselection of accepted works.

Content

• Title: Maximum 255 characters (including spaces). It must be informative and clearly reflect the content of the abstract. The title must be identical in the abstract and the final presentation. Do not write in uppercase letters.
• Authors’ names: Must be in lowercase (except for initials), and only the initial of each first name should be included (e.g., Dupont J.). A maximum of 6 authors is allowed.
• Keywords: 3 mandatory keywords must be selected from the French MeSH terms list: https://mesh.inserm.fr/FrenchMesh/
• Originality: Presentations must be original and must not have been previously presented at another conference. If the work has been presented before, the box "This work has already been presented" must be checked. A copy of an abstract already accepted at another conference is not permitted, but a study with new results reinforcing the initial work may be submitted.

Abstract Body:

• Limited to 35 lines or 2,500 characters (including spaces).
• Structured as follows:
  • For research papers: 5 paragraphs: Background / Objectives / Patients and Methods (or Materials and Methods) / Results / Conclusion or Discussion
  • For clinical cases: 3 paragraphs: Introduction / Case Report / Comments
• References: Maximum of 5 bibliographic references.
• No images may be inserted.
• Health products (drugs, medical devices, etc.) must be referred to only by their generic name. No brand names are allowed. Any work deemed overly promotional or potentially promotional by the reviewers will be excluded from selection.

IMPORTANT: The abstract must be anonymized and must not include any author names or affiliations (in the title or body text). Failure to comply with this anonymity rule will invalidate the submission!

Presentation Themes Authors must select the category in which they wish to submit their work. The jury reserves the right to reclassify the submission if the chosen category is deemed incorrect.

Acceptance of Presentations Authors will be notified via email of the acceptance or rejection of their submission(s) before October 1, 2026.

As the early-bird registration deadline for the conference is October 15, 2026, authors will have sufficient time to register as attendees. Any accepted work not presented during the conference will result in all its authors being barred from submitting new work for a period of 5 years.

Oral Presentations Each presentation will last approximately 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A, during one of the sessions. Authors must ensure they are available for their assigned oral presentation slots.

Authors must report to the pre-projection room before their session to verify their presentation. For all types of presentations, all materials (images, forms, etc.) must be copyright-free. Any copyright claims will be the responsibility of the primary author. Final versions of oral presentations must be uploaded in .ppt format to a server on the morning of the presentation.

Presentation Certificates Certificates will be issued in the names of the submitting authors. Certificates will be available on the e-presentation and oral presentation upload server after October 30, 2026, provided at least one author was present at the conference. An email will be sent to the submitting author notifying them that the certificate is available.

• No separate certificate will be issued for e-forum presentations other than the e-presentation certificate.
• No other method will be available to obtain these certificates.
• No certificates will be issued retroactively.

Author Registration Prior registration to the conference by at least one author is mandatory to submit a presentation and obtain a certificate. No exceptions will be granted! The registration reference number is required to access the PDF upload for the presentation. This reference appears in the registration confirmation email and on the registration confirmation itself. If the first author cannot attend the conference, another co-author must be registered and present. Authors must indicate the name of the attending author in the appropriate field when submitting the abstract. After the final selection by the jury, awards will be given to the best presentations.
